A brief synopsis of the camp is that it will be run as an overall 'Section competition' with three Sections per Flight including a command element. Sections will be assessed and scored throughout the week in all areas excluding the Recce Day. The week will be broken into three main training phases. Weapon training and firing including lessons based on the yearly training program adopted by the Military. Fieldcraft based around ACP 16 and the confirmation phase in the form of a tactical exercise. Most days will include some form of physical exercise so cadets will need to expect this as the team sports go towards the Section competition.
Prizes/medals will be awarded in the shooting competitions, best Section (all members) and the Flight commander of the best flight. There will also be some prizes/medals for particular sports winners. Cadets will have social time each evening in their own club (NAAFI) where they will have access to games such as table tennis, giant jenga, connect 4 etc, and be able to purchase snacks and drinks.
